How to play HEROTHOT
HEROTHOT is a trivia quiz game you play in your browser, on a phone or computer. Practise on your own or challenge friends in multiplayer. Pick a theme, read each question and choose your answer before the timer runs out.
Try Solo without an account
- Open Create a game. If you are not signed in, Solo is the available mode.
- Choose your theme, difficulty, number of questions and time per question. The game settings show the available options.
- Start the quiz and select an answer for each question. You can also use the answer keys shown in the game.
- Check the answer feedback and your result. Start a new Solo session whenever you want to practise again.
Guest play uses a temporary session for that game. It does not create an account or save XP, Noscos, a ranked rating or a permanent game history. Create an account if you want to keep progress and play with other people.
Play a quiz with friends
Multiplayer requires each player to create an account or sign in. Choose Versus for a one-on-one quiz, or unlock team and group modes as you progress. Use Custom game to configure the quiz and make the lobby private when you want to play with your own group.
Share the lobby link or game code with your friends, or invite them through the friends features. Everyone joins before the host starts the game. Keep the lobby open while waiting for the other players. For a public match, choose a mode on the homepage to look for an available lobby.
Free accounts have a daily allowance of started games. Guest Solo and the Daily Challenge follow separate rules. Mode availability can also depend on your level, plan and the daily Royale allowance; the game screen explains any restriction before you start.

Available themes include History, Geography, Sport, Science, Mathematics, Space, Culture, Cinema, Music, Literature, Technology, Art, Nature, Language, Food, Mythology, Society, Business. Question availability depends on the selected settings.
With an account, quests and achievements give you goals to work towards. Ranked matches affect the rating shown on the leaderboard; choose an unranked game when you want a casual match. The Daily Challenge offers a shared set of questions for the day.
